This Privacy Policy describes what data Pawdy Panda collects (spoiler: almost nothing) and how it's handled.
The panda uses a Windows API to know when a key is pressed on your keyboard, so it can play the "typing" animation alongside you. We never read which key was pressed, never log keystrokes, never see what you type.
If enabled in Settings (default ON, easily disabled), Pawdy Panda reads the title bar of your foreground window every 1.2 seconds. It looks for the words "Thinking", "Generating", "Processing", etc. so it knows when an AI agent (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.) starts and finishes a task.
The title is matched against a fixed keyword list locally and immediately discarded. We do not log, store, or transmit window titles.
When you first install Pawdy Panda and enter your license key, the app makes one HTTPS request
to api.lemonsqueezy.com to verify your license is valid. After that, no further internet
requests are made by the app.
%APPDATA%\Pawdy Panda\settings.json%APPDATA%\Pawdy Panda\license.json%APPDATA%\Pawdy Panda\crash.logNone of this is ever transmitted anywhere.
Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as the Merchant of Record. When you buy a license, Lemon Squeezy collects payment information (name, email, payment method) per their own privacy policy.
Pawdy Panda only sees: your license key + activation status. We never see your name, email, address, or payment info.
Pawdy Panda is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone.
If we ever change this policy in any meaningful way, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and announce it on pawdypanda.com.
